Mix levels not being imported with Studio Sets

I have two FA-08 units and want to keep identical content on each. When I make changes on my "A" unit, I backup the songs & studio sets and keep a copy of each on my laptop as well. I then import these songs & studio sets into the "B" unit from what's saved on my laptop. This seems to work ok except for one problem. I've noticed when I make a change to the mix level on a track and save the associated studio set (and make copies of everything), the studio set with the new adjusted mix level doesn't import into my "B" unit. It keeps showing the old setting. I know the mix level is saved with a studio set so when I backup & import the updated studio set into the "B" unit, shouldn't the change appear ? Is there a step I'm missing for this ? Thanks....!

Could you confirm wich parameter are you using change the mix level of tracks ? Maybe it's not saved in Studio Set...

Sure. Here's what I do (on my "A" unit):

1 I select the track in a song I want to adjust;
2. Press the Shift button followed by Mixer;
3. Adjust the track's level to my preference;
4. Save the Studio Set; (I've confirmed this does work when I reload the song & Studio Set. My change is there).

Then for importing:
5. Perform the backup function under Menu > Utility > Backup
6. Copy the .SVD files in the "A" unit's Backup folder to my laptop
7. Copy these .SVD files from the laptop to the SD card of the B unit
8. Import the Studio Set function under Menu > Utility > Import Studio Set/Tone on the B unit

See any problems with this ? Could there be an issue with the import process ?

Just a shot in the dark here, but could the mix levels need to be saved with the song? Maybe you have to save the song too?

I have never used the import method you describe. I have always put the entire card contents onto another card and imorted that way, using RESTORE. Does it work when you use this method?

I will try that. The method I used came from a YT video from Ed D. It worked when I initially transferred all my studio sets from my "A" unit to my "B" one. But doesn't seem to work now. Maybe your suggestion is the way to go. Thank you !

Figured it out. Turns out there was flaw in my import process. I wasn't specifying the destinations for the studio sets correctly. It's all good now.
