keyboard question

I'm asking this question in both, this, and the fantom G forum because I know that some answers may be partial to the model owned by those that reply. I am a guitar player of 47 years, who just bought his first keyboard.. I bought the Juno-G, and I think it is a wonderful keyboard. Playing the keys has been coming to me easier than I expected(although I know it takes years to become an accomplished player), and I'm starting to realize the potential value of having an 88 key model. My question is this; is it really worth the extra money for the Fantom G 88, as opposed to the Fantom X 88? I would like to make just one more purchase, and I would hate to have regrets. I don't play in a band anymore(guitar), and don't really ever see myself as accomplished enough to play keyboard in a band. I've got a number of vintage amps and guitars, and I have probably played them the equivalent of 3 hours since getting the juno g for Christmas 2008. I absolutely fallen in love with the keys. Since the matter of your choice is purely musical enjoyment i would say your best choice is going into your local music store and playing all: Roland, Yamaha, Kurzweil, Korg. Then you'll get a good idea what type of offer you've got to choose from and you'll pick your musical wonder by ear and heart.

You did the right choice to post this on both forums.
But now to your question:

I am honest and I would say the Fantom X still gives me enough power for my music. The Fantom X is a wonderful instrument with already tones of possibilities.

The price on ebay for a Fantom X8 is very interesting and it's sometimes near to a new Juno G. But you get more power for the same price. On ebay at $ 1500.-

I won't say buy a X or a G you have to find out what you need.

If you buy a Fantom X you can't do anyting wrong for the money you will spend. And till you will get all secrets of the Fantom X the next generation of Fantoms would come.

Have you decided that very important question of whether you want a workstation or an arranger keyboard??
