Anyway, many people think "Made In Japan" means only japanese people made it. Well maybe until the 80s, but after the 80s japanese society changed a lot. At the end of the 80s most japanese no longer wanted to work in factories, so many companies had a labor problem and started to hire lots of workers from developing countries.
Foreign workers wanted these jobs because they could earn a lot more money than in their country. They send their yen salary back to their country to make a profit from the exchange rate, and can buy land and build a house or whatever in their country.
Japanese products that are "Made In China" are cheaper than "Made in Japan" because cost of running a factory in china is cheaper than japan. Though the situation is the same, since Japanese design the products and manage the factories, while non-Japanese workers are the ones actually putting the products together.
Theres many nationalities living in Japan, its multicultural, Koreans, Chinese, Brazilians, Peruvians, Filipinos, Russians, Iranians, Israelis, Indians, Pakistanis, Nigerians... Each can be found in different sectors of the labor economy, like Chinese work in textile factories, Pakistanis are exporting used japanese cars overseas, Israelis are selling jewelry in the streets, Africans who cant speak english are pretending to be black americans and selling hip hop clothes, and some Filipino and Russian women are working in the "night industry" if you know what i mean

theres many kinds of situations.
Its called "globalization of labor capital" and of course some social problems will result from these situations, but thats another story! Btw, i studied some political-economics
