I agree there is no need to fill up and use all 30 OSC. It is overkill. The JD990 link I posted is just 1 tone 3 partials and its sounds fantastic. I was just curious of its lets say limitations in respect to the 4 parts...

There is definitely polyphony shortage if all partials are used. I did a test with a basic synth but all 3 partials used and all 4 layers for the upper and lower. No Drums or Percussion used. Just followed this kewl JP99...
