MC808 Song Length varies

Hi,
I have a song with 11 steps sequenced (6 user patterns). Repeatedly but not every time it bombs out 80% through the song and skips to the end. There isn't any extravagant orchestration going on. It is really just a few drum parts playing.

Hi, Dr Dirk. We're still hammering away at things here at Illicitizen central.
Well, step one for me was to play all 11 steps by themselves and see what happens. They all played fine. Then I played the song in its' entirety. It played fine. But as this has happened in 4 or more band practice situations I am a bit concerned.

So then I went to the patterns and played them and compared the lengths (measures) to what was recorded. The lengths were the same (thinking that maybe I'd inadvertently edited the patterns and somehow it was influencing playback during the songs. They compared to be the same.

Then I made a clean new song and sequenced those patterns (Rec) at the new location. Plays fine. I'll let you know what happens in subsequent practices. The thing is, if one of the patterns were corrupt somehow, it would have already been played before earlier in the song (as all the patterns repeat save the intro).
