V-Synth XT Display 'Ghosting'

1st post and it's a privilege to be here - hello everyone!

Just checking the display on my XT, there is a sort of 'ghosting' on the display most noticeable on screens with a lot of white in them - Lists, etc. Like vertical shadows.

Is this normal?

It seems that many of the factory programs are really just to demo what the XT can do. I am tempted to wipe them all and start from scratch.

But it's a great machine - truly original - a rarity these days!

Well this is normal, at least we need to blame the manufacturer of the LCDs that Roland has put in there, although they do provide much better timing and touch response than other's I've used.
