Is this possible?

I want to be able to press a key lets say a string sound and have it continue to sound without me holding it down until I hit another key and then that key continues to sound. I know it has something to do with patch edit but just not sure. Any ideas?

Hi Jeff!

There is probably an easy answer, but I'm afraid that you're going to need someone much smarter than myself to answer your question. (Art maybe?)

I tried playing around alittle and decided that the easiest way to get the keyboard to respond like that was to assign the strings as monophonic and hold the sustain pedal down. I did try envelope manipulation but was unsuccessful. If I were you, I would try posting again, specifically asking for Artemio or Nathan to help you. Sorry.
