TimePitchShifting

TimePitchShifting

How do I get a patch made from a sample to play at its normal sampled speed when i play it on different keys without the sample speeding up or slowing down?

i want a vocal sample to be deeper but not slowed down.

also, is there anyway to get our BPM's to be ##.## instead of just ## so my loops would loop perfectly each time?

What about the pitch shifting? i want the notes to change but not the tempo of the C key.

When you assign a sample to keys, check the Tempo Sync mark, and the tempo will not change with the pitch. Try different settings for the timestretching type in the Sample Parameter screen to fit your sound. NOTE that you won't get what you want perfectly with timestretching, you would need VariPhrase for better results, but still across +/- 6-7 semitones a vocal sample will sound okay.

Hold down your shift key and then turn the value dial...

Mr Layz means Sample Parameter screen, not the sequencer tempo.
