Can you use the D Beam from say a Fantom XA, as the XT does not have a D Beam...well you no what I mean....lol

midi signal..etc...

Yep, the D Beam and and TT Pad on the V-Synth keyboard just send certain MIDI CC numbers (don't know off-hand, but it's in the manual).. if you send the same CC values from any external gear on the right channel, it's the same as if you had a local controller.
