^ LOL

Music is an expression of self, the expression of the soul. Be creative it's source is unlimited, however evey now and then your brain rains in and poops all over everything thus limiting this great expression of self.

...for those who'd like to have it prior to NAMM 06:

This one is offered at eBay (Germany):

...it has a slightly differnt cover as well, maybe due to the fact that it is the edition that was given away in Germany... (...just my guess...)

Hmm... alot of folks were speculating that this would just be a collection of samples already offered on the other boards... I was a little dissapointed after hearing that... but the cover of the box says "newly sampled"! Me thinks this is a good thing :)

Pearls of wisdom, no mistake, but I bought a Fantom-Xa anyways ;)

why do they have to keep sampling the same old things.why didnt they get it right the first time.how many pianos and elaectric pianos are they going to offer . heres an idea, what not offer some rhodes chroma samples,or how about some "dynomy"rhodes samplescause a rhodes without a hot preamp kind of sounds blah anyway.roland owns the rights to rhodes anyway,so why dont they sample the good stuff, instead of just rehashing the same ole shit.i would like sounds of the mv8000 personally.it doesnt come with many stock sounds but i like what i heard so far.they need to also add some new cosmamp models.for instance a "dynomy"pre to play a rhodes patch through.hey roland if your listening,i would love to work for your product development team, you could be a hell of alot more profitable with a guy like me around.instead of some forty or fifty year olds sitting around in their boxers, drinkin and smoking stoggies try to figure out how to trick people into buyin the same ole shit.hey and tibbs try bathin, and for god sake get a hair cut.fifty year olds should look a little more age appropriate dont you think.love your chops though....peace!!!!!!!!!!!
I predominately have been a korg and kurzweil user ,but I'm interested in trying roland sounds as well, I have the opportunity to pick up the old S88...I dont need sampling or other features, just interested in the sounds, being so...is the X8 overwelmingly superior to the S88 in terms of sounds ?? please forgive my ignorance and thank you for your assisstance
