Email query. can you help?

Outlook express. Somehow my messages are getting combined. Messages that are on the same subject matter get layered or somehing. Say i write someone a message. They reply. I reply to them, they reply again. All these messages don't appear as separate messages. They combine themselves together in some weird layer. I have to go to the original message and delete the various layers until I can get to the newest info. How do I change this?

Mine does the same thing. I talked to a couple of friends who use OE and theirs does it, too. My guess is that that is the way it was designed. I, too, would be interested in a solution.

Funny to read this

This feature is called "message threading". It is useful as it allows all messages in a discussion to be kept together. You can switch it off, but I am not sure how it's done in Outlook, just look for something like "thread messages".

Automatically expand group messages? I unchecked that so that will probably do it. It is under tools and options.
