Which software suite?

Which software suite?

Total noob question here. :)

I got a chance to see a Roland G-70: Add a built-in sampler and it would have been the perfect keyboard in my book: It expands on several of the Fantom's strong points, and uses many of the Fantom's samples, such as the ultimate grand.

I never thought I would be a fan of arranger keyboards, but it turns out I like 'em- a lot. So...

Can any one recommend a program that would basically give me the arranger functionality of pre-made styles on my fantom using midi?

Wow that's weird, I just came back from my local stores trying to see if the g70 was shipping yet. I am thinking of going the arranger route myself but are they good for songwriting as well or just for the one man band type of use?

About your question... Not sure I recently got rid of all my software so I am a little biased about it...LOL

you know the only thing that the fantom really misses the mark on this is that the Chord memory function is bogus.

in otherwords the whole arranger thing could possibly be done with chord memory except that you are stuck with fixed chords unless you use the pads.. still odd...

the vsynth has an appropriate method of chord memory on the VC2 allowing you to program the desired chords for each key!! if such a feature would be implemented into the Fantom I beleive that used along with the arpeggiator could give some good comping type accompaniment

i think band in a box is the computer software auto accompany software

oh i just tried it out and while with some work it might sound good... it totaly sounds like a casio even using the fantom GM sounds... my wife was laughing so hard she was crying... thats how bad it sucks...

OMG!!! I downloaded the demo for kicks and I couldn't agree more.

If you want a good laugh, give it a try. :)

Any other suggestions?
