Newbie Section off limits to criticism ????

28 Jan 2005, 20:37
Hey kids I know we all have opinions about how one should act in here but, I was wondering if we could at least make the Newbie Section a place where one could post their first few times without fear of undo criticism. After all this is the Newbie Section. If after a few utterly ignorant posts someone continues to be abrasive or rude or crude then sure they are fair game. How about it? Is this asking too much?

I dont even see why we need crude comments... like people who have the money to buy a Fantom should be mature enough to handle there dumb comments- like saying the manual is poor when you can easily search around the internet or on this Forum for the questions.

Great idea; wish this sentiment would hold true in all forum sections. I've noticed a lot of "offensitivity" here in the past few months.

I was a newbie once too. I am obligated to extend the same courtesies to others that hooked me on this forum. Count me in.

I myself have no time to talk too much here, so I just post a reply with answers or close the browser tab. So I agree with PD.
