Keyboard hire recommendations for Roland replacements
24 Feb 2026, 10:04Hi all,
I wonder if anyone could recommend good hire placements for some classic Roland keyboards we normally use, but can't fly them due to freight costs. So something easily available (as there are a few countries) and possible I can load similar sounds into. it's not complicated but am a bit out of touch with latest series of sounds.
The band that currently using a main piano of an RD800 plus a Juno-GI (ARP bell + pad) and Juno-DI (string pad) on gigs.
I was thinking of getting a iConnectivity mioXM (remote MIDI stage box) and running the sounds via MainStage remotely, but if I can hire Roland keyboards with similar onboard tones that might be easier, but depends if I can prep it all before hand & not be programming sounds on stage for each gig. Sounds are complex but I'd like them the same each time.
Hope that makes sense.
Appreciate any help.
