Has this been fixed yet? I have bought an AX Edge on the hope that it is the bees knees, but when it comes to editing, the android editor is a bunch of pony.

Are Roland fixing this? Is there an alternative one can hook up to your laptop via USB to get the most out of this, like the AX Synth?

If Roland haven't sorted this, then it shows a massive lack of care for their customers.

Opinions?

Hey there.
I had issues with the most recent (2020?) software update.
Both my editor app and my ax were fully updated but my app couldn't find my instrument.
I tried everything from factory resets to rollbacks of updates.
After a ton of searching I happened to (accidently) open the app with my location services turned on.
That was literally it.
Location AND Bluetooth need to be turned on.

Buy an older Android phone and it should run OK. It still sucks, but it works. I don't think I'll ever mess with the internal sounds of my AX-Edge... It's just a pain in the ass and easy to mess something up.

All we can do is keep hammering them for an updated editor. Here's what i put in their AX-Edge Customer Satisfaction survey:
Best Keytar on the market for multiple reasons! WORST sounds EDITOR on the market. Just read the independent reviews online. They are laughing at ROLAND, and turning away future Ax-EDGE buyers. PLEASE< PLEASE< PLEASE improve this iphone/ipad/android app., or BETTER YET, replace it with a robust PC/Mac editor! This keytar has everything else, and could be a milestone in keytar history. Bring a much-needed sales boost to this 6 year old product. Run the numbers, its low-hanging fruit.
