Applications for the pedals available for the FA
8 Jul 2024, 15:10Looking at the manual, I see three jacks for pedals, the HOLD jack and the two CTRL 1 and CTRL 2 jacks. I think I get that the HOLD jack just replicates the hold pedal that you find on a piano. You push the pedal strike a key and as long as you are holding the pedal down the key is played as if you are holding it down.
But the other two jacks have other possibilities. It could be a switch, I imagine, sort of like the S1 and S2 switches, except you don't have to take your hands off the key board.
But the expression pedal is entirely different. I am familiar with how pedals like this work with guitar stomp boxes, like where you can modulate the wah or distortion with the pedal. But is there anything going on already in the FA that you can apply with the expression pedal without making any changes? Are there presets that use it? If so, which ones?
