does anybody know the answer to the following:
-is there a way to try n/zyme before buying?
-is n/zyme available for anything else than Fantom?

Unfortunately there's no way to try n-zyme before you buy it. Same said for extra Tones bank (100+ 4,99 USD each) I bought and the overall quality is quite disappointing... but i realized it only after having installed them into my Fantom 7.
I bought n-zyme and I think it's a very interesting soud engine, but you can't edit it unless you have several hours in front.

Be aware that some of the Tones need manually changing its ATTACK value to show its power.

I discovered it by accident, then some went from sounding an extremely unusable meaningless short burst to a lovely whole phrase that lasted seconds. It all depends on the ADSR settings. Then you will see they are worthy of the highest praise.

Yes, it is a Roland Fantom.
