JP-08: What does MANUAL + [11] control?

I was looking to see if maybe they had made the JP-08 chorus setting changeable from the front panel. If they did, I haven't found it.

But there is some sort of setting under MANUAL + [11] (aka Patch Preset 3) that I can't find in any manual. It seems to have two options. Does anybody know what it does?

modulation wheel (ribbon) hold on / off

You did understand the question correctly! And, yes, that appears to be exactly what it does.

Was that documented anywhere? I can't find it.

it is in the manual almost at the end under "System Settings" - C2 Modulation Hold
