Foreigners - Long Long Way From Home - Synth intro sound

I don't you'll find the exact patch but if you find a similar sound in the synth lead or polysynth presets, in sure it would not be too difficult to program the sweeping effect by adjusting the filter envelope and use a square wave LFO on the amplitude to generate this sound.

Here is what I did in a few minutes yesterday. It certainly needs some fine tuning but I think it's a start.
My starting point is the SN Synth preset 1037 Tekno Lead 31
Here are the changes I made in each tab.
This is a 1 partial tone so all the changes refer to partial 2 only. I typically use the Pro Edit mode. If I did not change it I did not mention it.

I suggest to use some HEXA Chorus or some kind of Phaser effect which will widen the sound and emphasize the sweeping effect. I also listened to the original song and the sound seems to move from right to left. This could be done using the AutoPan effect or the Modulation LFO..
There are probably other ways to get to it using the PCM tones which might give you a little more flexibility on the fine tuning but this is easiest one I could think.
Make sure you don't "legato" the notes when you play, otherwise you won't get the filter effect on the second note.
