FS-61 weird noise...

FS-61 weird noise...

This isn't a static noise or something constant, but it happened yesterday and now today. Yesterday my friend was playing the board, and I heard this really weird noise coming out. I noted he had the headphone back in the wrong output, but we put it in the correct one and the noise was still there.

Then I noticed the D-Beam was on. So we turned it off and no problem.

But today I got a similiar weird noise right upon boot, but the D-Beam was not on I am 100% sure. I turned the volume down and loaded a song, and the noise was gone. I loaded a few more songs, no problems. I even rebooted to see if it'd sound again, and no noise.

If it happens again I'll try to sample it, but any idea what it could be?

I've had a weird noise play on my FS61 about 3 times now over the last 6 months. It was not related to the headphone jacks or d-beam. It continued until I changed patches. I have been unable to reproduce it so far. I thought I might have touched it in the wrong place :). Next time I will try to sample and upload it.

" I thought I might have touched it in the wrong place :). "

Hehehe, good one. Well I got the weird noises coming out when I had issues with my midi connection. So I suppose if you activate functions that trigers bugs you could get it. Important thing is that it doesn't stay like that.

I haven't changed my connections in a while so I don't think its related to that. The sound I heard was "consistent" in that it did not go up/down octaves or change wave types.
