Chain Play
6 Oct 2020, 05:13Been using Roland since the XP 80 was the flagship and what I miss from the XP 80 was
the filing system which totally sucked in the G series which was a nightmare when transferring a song from one project to another
Another great feature in the XP 80 was chain play which allowed you to cue up songs in the order you like, hit play and the would automatically play one after another, perfect for live situations.
Also I think the sequencer on the XP was much more user friendly than on the G
I actually preferred making sequence sections and then forming them into a song on the XP, something not possible the G series
Has any of these ideas found their way into the 6,7, or 8 series?
