Best way to connect Jupiter Xm to Fantom?
22 Jul 2020, 05:12Hi all,
I have a bit more time for making music these days (my kids are growing up!), so I'm seriously considering buying a Fantom 7 and Jupiter Xm.
I'll be using the Fantom as a PC/DAW audio interface and controller (as well as an awesome workstation, of course), but I'd also like to connect the Jupiter Xm to it so I don't have to use its built-in keyboard and speakers.
I'm a bit out of touch with connectivity these days. How should I connect the Fantom and the Xm? Must I use MIDI and XLR cables, or is there a better way (eg. USB)? I'm guessing not, but I thought I'd check before buying more cables.
Many thanks in advance,
Ben
ps. Using the Xm's I-Arpeggio to control sounds on the Fantom would be an awesome bonus if it's do-able too!
