MIDI track 16 stays mute (gray)

Hello there,

I have a problem with my FA 08.
The MIDI track 16 stays gray and i can't play a preset with is MIDI track.
I have done a factory reset but that hat no effect.
All i hear on this MIDI track 16 are drum and instruments loops

Anyone have seen this problem before?

By default part 16 is set up for the pads.
You can change it to any part (or even turn it OFF).

This setting is located in Studio Common\General\Pad Part Select

If you want to use part 16 as a 'normal' part, just set this to OFF and it will no longer be gray and you will hear the assigned Tone.

(the gray color is just to inform you that you will not hear the assigned Tone but the samples that were assigned to the pads)

(If set to OFF, you can still use the pads to trigger the samples)

You can also change it on a particular studio set by highlighting the word 'and' in the studio set and change it to midi there.

YES! so much thanks for your help guys. I thought it was a software bug.
