I very much would like being able to record different scenes, non stopping.

Very often I have as many as, say, 40 instruments. I manage them along some three scenes, each one using 16 zones arranged along the keypad.

I can record the scene non stop while changing instruments through the keypad, but when I use S3 [thanks to 1.6 update] to change scenes I get the message NOW RECORDING and nothing happens,

At times, using the keypad is awkward.
S1, S2, S3 could be used as an option...to select a number or to go through them.

A true copy/paste in piano roll would be nice. For example, if I extend a pattern to 8 bars and I want to duplicate the first 4 before modifying.

I think perhaps VALVES should be used when configuring VELOCITY.

Often I use many instruments that are call in on the basis of velocity....but if I happen to fail in using the required velocity after a while [my little finger, so to speak, becoming weak] some zones or some partials will not sound.

So selecting a VALVE as active will make any sound previously triggered to keep sounding while its keyboard range is played.

Think of it as a check valve.

Could it be placed after the velocity upper range selector....?
Valve on, valve off....Lovely.

A further step will allow S1,S2,S3 to reset that valves to the start position in order to do the very same from the very beginning....if you wish so.

My predictions for tomorrow new Firmware: user Multisamples usable in the Zen-core chain, new SN Sounds and the first Model Expansions for Fantom. I am optimistic?

FW on Thursday or Friday? Conflicting reports, both here and on GS.
If I wasn't so impatient, I'd just sit tight and wait and see what happens, but I've been obsessively refreshing my browser for the latest news since last week!
I'd also be interested to know where the rumours came from? Wonder if it'll actually be 2.0 or just a minor release (eg. 1.7)?

I enjoy the suspense and excitement every time I hit that Refresh button, lol!

So doesn't look like it's happening today. At least we're 100% guaranteed to get it tomorrow then.
