When I switch between those two filter models, I can't hear no difference. There is a distinct difference to the 24db model.

From the parameter guide:

This button selects the slope (steepness) of the filter.
For VCF, you can choose -12, -18, or -24.
For TVF, only -12 or -24 can be selected.
If Filter Type is TVF, the following limitations apply.
- You can specify only -12 dB or -24 dB. If you
specify -18 dB, the sound generator operates
internally with the -12 dB setting.

- If you specify -24 dB, the polyphony will be
lower than if you specify -12 dB.

Thanks! I will check that. Strange, they should take the 18db Filter out, if it deosn't operate...

It works in VCF, just not in TVF.

The menu system is not "smart" - e.g. it does not show just the values that are relevant to the selected mode. There are many other examples of controls displayed that may not have any effect in the current mode. The largest example is in the Structure modes, where a large number of modulator tone settings are ignored in favor of the carrier settings. Another is ADSR Env, which overrides a bunch of envelope settings. It takes a lot of reference to the parameter manual until you figure this out.
