One feature that the TR-8 has that the TR-8S doesn't, and I sorely miss, is the ability to program the drums from an external sequencer (like the MPC) while still being able to use the mute buttons on the TR-8S. The only way now is if the drums are programmed on the TR-8S's sequencer.

They also need to fix the dedicated Trigger Out, which not respond to Last Step settings. This is a major bug and fixing it would really improve functionality.

Are you guys actually sending these feature requests and bug reports to Roland, or just hoping they’ll come across this thread? (You should…because they won’t.)

More steps and more fluid transitions for the A-H feature. I also want to be able to control how many times a pattern plays before switching to the next one.
