Recommendations for sample mics?

Hey players (sorry),

I'm looking to buy a sampling microphone, and I was curious if anyone could recommend anything to me. I need to record pretty much all types of samples (everything from blowing on a bottle, to beating on a table with a spoon, etc.), and I'm also going to record my "beat-boxin' skillzez" (where you make drum beats with your mouth or whatever). So, basically, I want to record anything and everything (maybe even vocals down the road, although this is just a thought for now -- I don't really need a vocal mic).

So, can anyone recommend any tried-and-true sample mics (I also need to keep the cost down somewhat, but I don't want to sacrifice quality for price) or just what they've used and works well?

If you heard percussion and vocals on my tracks like The Meanwhile and Time To Rock - these were sampled using Shure SM58. It's a very decent dynamic mike that you can get for around $120-130.

dynamic mic's are cool, but I have a condensor(Rode NT2) that gives back perfect naunces, no hiss, and u can hear EVERY little detail, but that'll cost u around $350. US. and you'll need 48volts of Phantom power. but don't worry 'NADY' makes some nice condensers that start at 49bucks (CM 90) and 59bucks(SCM 900) (look these up)...and "MXL" has a nice one(990) staring at 69 bucks... then u can get a cheap pre-amp that can give u the Phantom power needed to get goin. "BEHRINGER" has a pre-amp(DI100-Ultra DI) startin at 39 bucks.

and for less than some nice(hissy) dynamic mics u can get a professional clear soundin condenser, AND a pre-amp. if u gonna do it, do it right from the beginin and u won't have regrets latter. especially if u want to rec...
