Live sets

Can someone help please.

I bring a life set into a registration and maybe alter part of the live set (eg put a trumpet up an octave).

This amends the live set whereas I really only want it to be amended on that specific registration.

Any ideas?

Right. A registration cannot modify a tone within a live set.

Just save the altered live set with a new name. Think of it as a live set specific to the registration. You get used to it after a while. :) This way it also becomes easy to use the live set in other registrations later. If you want to perform a dynamic piece you might need multiple registrations and live sets with slight variations.

The hardest part is keeping track of which live sets are in use (and by which registrations). I have built some basic tools for that.
