looks like roland have more or less completed the SRX card translation to FA-06 axial downloads so what's coming next?

supernatural acoustic tones?

or maybe the FA-06 will also get access to the JD-xi synth tones?

SRX-96 World Collection and Legendary XP Essentials (special SRX board 2008)
SRX-97 Jon Lord's Rock Organ (special SRX board 2007)
SRX-98 Analog Essentials (special SRX board 2006)
SRX-99 Special Wave Expansion (promo released mid-2004)

Already at the time the topic was discussed: http://forums.rolandclan.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=48797

The problem is that the memory of FA supports only ten expansions.
We will have to wait for a new update to see if the FA have more expansion capabilities: http://forums.rolandclan.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=49103

And now with the new JD-Xi and JD-XA projects I doubt that Roland be worrying for launching new updates and expansions for the FA.

Luck friend .................

I shouldn't give up hope just yet. Years after SRX-03 and SRX-04 were released, Roland put out two refills for the Fantom-XR giving users another 128 patches for each board. It's possible they could do the same here. The same refill sounds could be offered as an .SVD file on Axial, it would probably not take them a great deal of effort to make this happen.
It's certainly not necessary for me, I have SRX-03 refill in my Fantom-XR already, but it's a very easy stop-gap while they think of more content to provide to us, along with that oh so hoped for firmware update.
Only a few more days to wait and see anyway, so let's just do exactly that. Wait and see.

Here is the latest from Roland Axial. Nothing new SRX card expansion or new sound and new updates no nothing. The FA does not support more than ten expansions. Only samples for the sampler:

It is not true, that the FA does not support more than ten expansions!
The FA supports not more than TWO expansions at the same time. Programer can program thousands of expansions, you only can load two at the same time in the FA!

Exactly!

I think we should say, 'Roland will not support more than 10 EXP ' at this time. But there are some indications that it may not be possible to select sounds of more EXP boards because of an internal (artificial) limitation. PCMS WAVE GROUP in the menu is limited by 10 (pressing ENTER will show all selectable values), but the Manual of Parameter (PL) says
Ex01– (if expansion sound Waves exist)
(page 45). So it could be Ex01 up to Ex99.
Let's hope...

Thanks for the correction, but really what I meant is that the FA charge only supports up to ten expansions (memory banks), but can be loaded into memory only two at the same time, of the ten expansions that FA supports.

Here I leave a picture with what I meant. Perhaps with my with my Spanish-English translations are not well understood what I meant to say.
In this thread we talk about what I intended to say about ten expansions FA:

Thanks "bennyseven" for the clarification. Sometimes my translations may not be correct ...

Greetings.

They probably have good intentions releasing the sample packs, but they are not very
good, they sound terrible, let loopmasters do their publicity, by themselves,
don't need those crapy samples.
I tried to find third partys that program for Roland, it's the desert out there, and not only
for the Fa, very little programming done for any recent Roland keyboard.
I wonder why ?????

Can these axial downloads be removed from the Fa 06/08 and do they take up user space?
