JP80 Registration buttons

I bought a demo stock JP80 from a store yesterday and got it home, did a Factory Reset (it's running v.2.10) and there seems to be a problem in that the Registration Buttons don't seem to work.
Apart from the Registration Lock page in the Menu which I have checked and rechecked to make sure it's unlocked, is there anywhere else that could switch these buttons off, please? They aren't even lit-up.
