I asked this elsewhere, but the thread title is more relevant to the question:
Monkey Man, in another thread, wrote:
Does anyone know for sure whether or not there are in fact new sounds in these four new collections, or are they just layered stacks of existing presets?

If they're just layers of what I already have, I wouldn't waste the performance slots on 'em. In fact, I wouldn't even load 'em 'cause I'd lose whatever mix (of parts) I was working on.
Further to that, I want to keep preset space free for future Roland patches. Why would one chew up more User slots on repeat patches, if indeed that's what they are (not the performances)?

Confused here. I've Googled my ass off, but all the official references out there seem unclear to me, using terms like "derived from" and what have you. I'd like to know if they were directly lifted from the SL libraries and then layered... please!

Integra is not a sampler. So you cant import new sounds !

These patches are new presets fr the supernatural synth ! Just as if you would take an old analog synth, turn the knobs, make a new and wonderful patch and then save it for later usage.

These sounds are not remakes of existing presets. They are new presets based on the waveforms inside integer. I think YOu should first learn, how the sounds of SN synths are made inside the Integra ! They are not sample based.

Hi Catarsis!

You misunderstand me. I'm asking if it's just the Synth Legends patches layered into Performances, or if they've programmed new Synth Legends patches (or any other new ones) to use for the layering.

If there're no new patches, only layers of the Synth Legends patches which we all already have, there's no point in getting them for me. It looks to me like new patches are added to your User SNSynth bank when in fact (it seems) they're repeats of the already-installed Synth Legends banks, and are therefore a waste of space. IMHO, if existing patches were used, it would've been useful for Roland or whoever to point to them rather than duplicate 'em.

As pointed out previously, I don't want the performances as they'll mess up my usual modus operandi for multis. If there are indeed new patches, I'm in and I'll shut up and be grateful!

Cheers, mate.

Yeah, now I got it :-)

I installed all the sounds from Axial and the Jupiter 6 and 8 sounds seemed to be the same as in Synth Legends.
I think even the patch names were the same.

Correct, just grouped in different StudioSets

The best way to get all sounds ( not presets by the way), is by using the import function from the integra's front panel

That way you save all sounds to free memory slots and can use them whenever needed in your own studioSets

Yay! As I'd suspected. Thank you, Paulo!

Installing the EAS and SL libs only left a fraction of the original (patch) user slots free, so this is good news for me.

Hi
New I7 user here..... love it!!

Wondering about the repeat studiosets?

If I import the Synth legends with the studiosets
then I import just the sounds from

Jupiter 8 collection
Jupiter 6 collection
Dream rack bass
Dream rack shorties
And the Juno,s

Is that the best way to do it without getting repeat studiosets?

The best is to import the tones only and not the StudioSets, so you can always use them as you wish.

However, it will be useful to check some StudioSets first and decide after if you maintain some of them permanently together with the default ones and/or your own ones.

Lots of checking... ;-)
