Digitally record V-Synth XT into Logic 8?

How do I record digitally the V-Synth XT into Logic 8 on my Mac? Can I use the USB cable or do I need to use a light pipe to my audio interface?

I use the Analog Outs directly into my MOTU. Works pretty well. You can try the ADATs or Optical as well. There may be a sonic difference.
