Sustain pedal setting is reversed?

By default, the hold pedal polarity is set to standard but it sustains without the pedal being pressed.
This is not standard. I have to set it to reverse in order for it to work normally.

Why is the Jupiter 80 this way?

Are you using a Roland pedal? The setting on the JP-80 should be standard for Roland pedals. Other pedals might have to be reversed.
