vp9000, saving formant setting (does the XT do that?)
22 Dec 2011, 08:25Hi.
here I am again with my vp9000.
I extensively read the manual,
but I couldn't find any info about the following:
I loaded a performance which includes just ONE encoded [solo-enconded] sample.
I then programmed the performance, played, modified the "formant" knob position, so obtaining a sound I like, and saved the performance AND the sample.
BUT:
if I reload the performance AND the sample, the formant modification is lost. I have to manually retrieve the "formant" knob position.
I find it hard to believe that a performance can't store such a basic modification (i.e., reloading the performance, with "formant" value at -32 instead of +63)
What am I missing?
Is that a software oversight in the vp9000?
If it is:
Does the v-synth XT allow for such setting?
thx in advance
