Just bought an XT

Paulo : OK thanks for the info, so that input can only be used for sampling, pity.....
I will have to use the analog input then....

Thanks

Sorry I didnt had time to test the digi in yet, but I found this info at Roland's site :

" External input type:
You can use audio signal that you get from the analog or digital input as a waveform in real time, without sampling it. "

http://www.roland.com/products/en/_support/faq.cfm?PROD...

Yep... So the task now will be to find how to choose the Digital Input when using an External input source as the OSC waveform.
I tried all available Menus and could not find anything. It ALWAYS uses the Analogue Inputs.
The only place I could find it was in the Sampling section...

It arrived yesterday!! Wow what a machine, it is much better made than I imagined and sleeker. But the sound is something else. On raw presence it makes my Virus TI look quite thin on the top end. For my uses it nails the 8000/8080 sound that I wanted but as everyone raves about it's the Variphrase stuff that blew my head off. I mean I have Camel's Alchemy but it just sounds rawer, deeper all in one go. The polyphony is the only sucker really, but I knew that.

Very pleased so far!!!

Yes the XT is one of those rare gems.... If you have one.. hold on to it and treat it gently as its got too many possibilities to loose.

Hi Guy´s !

I´m new here and have just bought a XT too.
Astonishing sound and seems just right for psychedelic escapades :)

I guess Its gonna be some questions in the near future ;o)
