Does the G Fantom G recognize Half-pedaling?

Hi all, I am really thinking about pulling the trigger on buying a Fantom G6, but I am interested in knowing if I could use my DP8 that I use with my RD700 GXF to support half-pedaling on the G. I know that it has an effect called sympathetic resonance, but I don't know if the Fantom G recognizes half-pedaling.

Thanks piaknowguy for the info! Btw that's a cool film score track that you have. Was it done entirely on the Fantom G and also using just the internal sounds?

Half Pedal'ing requires a half pedal, other than a DP-2 which is about one half pedal in size, yet can not half pedal.

Fantom G & X7, Motif XS6, M3, V-synth, JP8000, M1, Wavestation, Radias, Nord Lead 2X, Karma, Snow, electribes and other groove boxes.

Thanks for the listen! Actually, the entire 'Pirates' sequence was done on the Fantom X8 using only the sounds from the SRX-06 Complete Orchestra expansion board.

Thanks Mystic, I was just being stupid, although being a Mystic you already new this.

Interestingly enough, this little thread prompted me to connect all my pedals up last night. I now have more sustain.

PS it's not half pedal, it's half damper, which is a little less than all wet.

Fantom G & X7, Motif XS6, M3, V-synth, JP8000, M1, Wavestation, Radias, Nord Lead 2X, Karma, Snow, electribes and other groove boxes.

@ atlas.. yes i should have been seer enuf for that..lol..

just sad that nobody has mentioned the FG6 back-pedal?
