RD700NX.....Just starting it folks, let's go!!!!

blah... was away for 3-4months working on my cars and garage and just today checked out some music stores online (i need to hibernate my cars anyway for snow season) and found that this NX just replaced the GX-F. lol how may revisions is roland going to make of the RD700??!! hahahaha.

i checked out roland's site and this new NX looks pretty promising for piano players. too bad they didn't make any improvements on the EP's. that's is one thing that was really lacking on the GX-F... and pushed me away to get the CP1 earlier this spring. (i already own a VPiano).

i really liked the piano sounds on the GX-F and with the PHA3 it think it can sound very nice and a pleasure to play. if they could've added atleast a single port for one ARX card, i may have even considered selling my FG8 and use the NX as my master keyboard on the composition side of things... oh well.

i guess this is about all i have to say about the NX. :p

the sound focus feature is a compressor with eq set up to give more punch in a live or recorded mix. nice feature check out the demo video

Not yet saxton, but awaiting any news about what you or anyone thinks, especially about the piano parts, keys, sounds feel etc.. I've got to replace my RD600 as soon as I find something great and my eyes are on the RD700NX.

just received my 700NX today in San Jose

Wow!!!!
So far so good in action and sound.
Sold my 700SX and never had a GX
But this was worth the wait.
Using it with a pair of QRC powered 12s
Christmas came early!

Just placed my order for the NX today with Sweetwater. Tried to buy one locally (Denver), but the retailer I called said that "IF they get even one, it will not be until after next week"?!? Mine should be here by Friday! And, yes, I did fall for the 3-pedal RPU-3...
