Maybe it's bad luck :-(
But the number of faulty screens seems to be a few compared with the total of JunoG.

And Dsnow, no you don't need to put the juno in usb mode, the usb mode it's only for data transfer.
The juno has to be in midi mode, normally it's the default mode when playing with the juno.
I think you don't need to see the screen to do this. Remember to install the driver if you want to use midi usb.

Okay. I've got all the drivers and what not installed. But, if I was going to use the librarian to select patches or performances to play, wouldnt I need to be in USB mode? I think I might...

Anyway, Im going to try it out this weekend!

I feel for ya buddy and with everyone else, whom have the same issue !

It really SUX when these `evil whammies` occur in / on digital or analogue synths.
Very unpleasant, especially when you're in the middle of something and then `WHAM` screen goes all dunce !
That really does suck !!
Anyway, hopefully one day soon someone will have found out what's causing the screen display to go faulty.
