Can hold pedal trigger a sample?

Case: I have a sample. I can trigger it with dynamic pad. Can I trigger it with (foot) hold pedal?

I don't believe you can, unless there's a way to program it using the modulation matrix of a patch the has the sample as one of it's tones.
Have never tried that.

Ok. Its seems to be impossible or at least very hard to setup.

I think I have to setup some kind of midi pedal triggering. Guy who triggers samples is holding guitar so its need to be done with foot.

Hey man,

the guitar-guy could trigger the sample by swiping his guitar-neck over the d-beam of the fantom which *can* trigger a sample
