Seriously though, the song sounds good, only problem I had was with the kick drum, it sounds too high pitched for the track imo.

hahahaha no but i wish i had;) lol one bass drum is tuned high and one is low. the bass sound has a sharp attack and is in the same frequency band as the high bass drum. i needed it to cut through the low bass drum sound so that on average stereos the rhythm will roll. i can see your point though. id like to be in the next video with these girls 8)

This is good.But I dont like Kick sound!Also there is one thing that you should do.ARX is a great machine both electric and acoustic drums.But one of the best features in this ARX is that you can make Electro-acoustic sounds.You can mix them.You can have acoustic snare + 808 snare......
You can make your own 2010 modern TR808 -909.And this is the best feature for electronic musicians!Everybody have TR808-909 sounds!And everyone is using them.But the real thing is to mix these sounds with some acoustic sounds.I have Drum Kit that I would like to give you for your song.Also this Drum Kit from ARX will help you to understand how good electronic sounds could be in ARX.

thanks for your replies. of course i am pleased with what I have done. but the main point is to show what you can do with what you have. the more you use the fg or any other complex instrument the more you can get from it. buying new equipment all the time is not the answer. as art has said and many others, just have deep understanding of what you already have. on this song there are many patches that art has done, and one inspired the whole song. i have edited them myself to fit perfectly with the song. editing patches on the g is easy when you spend a bit of time doing it. but how many users have done this? yes the song could be done without ARXO1, but when in this type of music the drums take up so much space. been able to perfect the sound is very very important. the high bass drum? ive tried different things and they just havent worked. the only way to change the high bass drum is to change the low one as well, but guys i very much respect your opinions. branko is so right. the arx sounds can be a mix of acoustic and synthetic sound and you can get some great combinations. branko you will have to email me the arx patch you mention and i will try it. email: john.cousins5@gmail.com
