Well. for me it's a good thing that I can make different style parts, most of the 7th are on the 4th or 8th measure, and you can already set them as fill in ;)
The 7th Chord I am allways programming it as a fill and with new bass/acc 1-6 to be different from Major or Minor.
Even the minor, you can set it a little different, like a little change in the bassline...
Anyway, the fixed chord is too mechanical, so a little change with minor/major/7th is welcome.

hi sayan previously i read most of your post regarding gw8 & honestly it was quite informative for me.thankx.well iam a yamaha guy,but knowing about gw8 iam interested to go for it,,,well in gw8 is it possible if one can layer 2 tones in split mode in left hand & +2 tones in right hand thats dual,finally thats getting 4 different tones together.[like we have in yamaha].
to be true i also like yamaha psr-s 710..but can you suggest which is better?thankx in advance
no, the GW-8 has only dual OR split. it doesn't work both in the same time.
but I was able to program thru midi other channels and with other midi key to play on other midi channels ,and save the performance with all the settings on all channels.

Hi,cminor..thank you very much for yor reply.well but if you have done so is it possible to store that mode as default whenever iam gigging,because i really love that 4layerd sound..for me it makes a great difference..secondly does gw8 come with a book rest/or extra attachment to do so?/is there any other way to have it?

I am looking for more tones.I meant if i could get that tones from the web and then import using USB IMPORT into my gw 8.I want those files in '.svd ' format.I also want some techno,dance,disco,hiphop styles.Thanks in advance...

geo:
1. gw8 can't import tones as "wav| (sampler). it can only import settings of performances where the internal sounds can be tweek and saved.
2. the GW have 4 different versions: A (asia), C (China) E (eastern europe) and L (latin)
3.GW have 2x64mb tone chipsets 1(64mb) of Fantom-Xa combined with Sonic Cell, and the second, World (64mb).
The World Chipset is different from version to version.
So styles from E version will not be 100% compatibile with other version (it is only if it doesn't have World Tones in the Style.
This is why the .svd is not compatible too.

Hai. I am not satisfied with gw 8 d-beam controller.Are there any more presets for D-Beam controller.If there is so, can you please upload it..
