Will there be a Juno-G replacement anytime soon?

Will there be a Juno-G replacement anytime soon?

I am wandering if there will be an Update to the JUNO-G any time soon, Like a Roland Juno-Gi sort of thing. Because The juno d, was released about 2005-ish? and was replaced last year, do any of you reckon that the G will be replaced anytime soon?

well, suppose much could be updated on the Juno G... Screen (the problems), update Wave memory, Refresh the patches (so its based on Fantom G sound-set opposed to the X), ARX expansion.

The Juno-G came out 2006-2007, the Fantom-X in 2004, the G in 2008.

Looking at that, I suppose it will be about time. You're right about the D(2005) and the Stage was also 2008

As for the screen problems, so far as the data collected here, it's been resolved; likely a manufacturing glitch. Obviously, full color would be nice but probably not something everyone wants to pay for.

I'm a little curious what they'll come up with. Will it be much better at this competitive price point? Would it include the updated processors in the Fantom? An audio interface? Balanced outputs(considered modding mine for a minute)? New pads to go along with the sampling kit? A 'real' file system?

Just say it won't be pearl white!

Hehe, I couldn't cope with a pearl white Juno In my studio ;-). But yes, it would be interesting to see what Roland can come up with.........lets watch this space :)

What I'd like to see: A seperate area for sequencing tracks apart from the song sequencer.

Roland could release a new Juno workstation (like Juno-G).
I think that, observing some of the new products like GAIA, Juno-Di, Juno-Stage, etc, Roland could include on this new "Juno workstation" the following features (wishlist sorted by real possibility):
Hardware:
- usb audio/midi interface as a workstation should be
- usb port for pendrive (new storage device used by Roland)
- audio inputs with Hi-Z and Phantom Power (Mic input)
- S1/S2 switches like Fantom-G/Juno-Stage
- new realtime controls to seem like the old school junos
- run with batteries (like Juno-Di/Gaia)
- better lcd display, maybe colorful like fantom-x
- 1 arx expansion slot
Firmware:
- Updated/new waveforms, patches and perfomances
- Live mode with 4 zones for split/layers
- Better and independent samples triggering
- more audio tracks, 8 is good

These new standard features from Roland for music production.

The best feature any future update should incorporate would be pattern mode, it would make drum programming a lot easier.
I would be crushed if a new model came out now, I have only owned mine for a month.

And how about more mirrors? LOL
Roland Juno-G, Roland JX305, Korg EMX, Yamaha RM1x, Korg Mcrokorg, Korg X3, Yamaha SY35, Yamaha AW1600.
