It's good to know that Roland U.S. will produce a comprehensive and well thought out new FG Connects Pack Dan.

That is, a more detailed and comprehensive one than the last one. The last one was really good too by the way.

I can tell you personally Dan that when our members see these "exciting" announcements from Roland U.S. headquarters i.e. from "you" and others at Roland U.S.

that the excitement builds in the Fantom G community and a "new exhilaration" pumps through our veins - no drugs needed.
We really appreciate all you do for us Dan i.e. all your videos and your noble effort(s) to keep us informed and in the "know" i.e. (as much as is allowable by your Boss's - who are located on a tiny island in the farthest regions of the Western Pacific Ocean).

Maybe one day, in the not too distant future, both Roland Corp. President and CEO Hidezaku Tanaka and Senior Managing Director Ichiro Nishizawa will "change" their positions regarding product disclosures.
Nothing is hidden that shall not be "revealed" at some point anyway. The excitement and positive impact Roland could achieve by "letting" the general public know more about "what's going on" within the halls of Roland Japan, would theoretically,

- create a new "bond" between Company and Consumer(s) - with whom Roland is seeking to reach; and would only go to accelerate and increase Roland's bottom line in my humble opinion. For instance, ARX cards for the Fantom G.

Or,.. OS updates.
As a comparison, Yamaha recently decided to let their customers in on more of the "behind the scenes" details of product development and/or OS upgrade details on certain products e.g. Motif XS, etc. By getting their customers involved by providing this direct User input, Yamaha is able to optimize and fulfill their customer's needs and wishes more directly, and consequently, more efficiently and more effectively, by getting them involved in the actual product development process. When your i.e. (Roland's) customers are able to "get involved" in a more cohesive and detailed way, it makes them (us) even more prone to stick with a company whom they (we) perceive as truly interested in our own personal needs, wishes, and in our User input; and that you (Roland) - by being "more" involved in the process by getting us involved with you - you're are doing just that i.e. you are creating a greater "bond" and cohesiveness between you and your customers. By Roland being more "open" and more "transparent" about the whole process of product development and/or updates it creates a "win win" situation if you ask me.

Theoretically speaking that is.

In other words, Roland will never know the overall benefits of such a drastic policy turnaround, unless they actually made them.
Food for thought and something to chew on anyway.

I hope Hidezaku Tanaka and Ichiro Nishizawa's teeth are in good shape.

So they can
really bite down and chew and chew and chew...

And hopefully it will digest well too. And in so doing, provide the needed strength for them to make the needed, albeit, perhaps most difficult decision - a reality.

Here's to hoping...
