Knobs in Live-mode

Knobs in Live-mode

26 May 2009, 17:05
Hi

I have a setup in live-mode were my lefthand is playing three layered sounds. Is there a way to make a knob control the cutoff for all these sounds at once?

That would be cool:-)

Thank You

Why ??

How come that everytime I want to make something with this synth I'm banging my head against a wall???

Of course there is a way to do this. Assign these left hand sounds to the same MIDI channel and then assign a knob to Cutoff. Turning this knob, you'll change the cutoff for these sounds at once.

whhhhaaaaaattttt

I've read several threads on this subject
Even made a few myself

Alot of my programming choices have even been adapting to this seeming impossiblity

Sometimes it's the most obvious thing...

Bloody hell, it even works for D-beam. Just make sure you enter the volume parameters first before you set the sounds to the same MIDI channel, otherwise one slider will move the volume fader of both sounds to the same level.

gareth: Yeah, you're right. I forgot to tell you that you first make all the adjustments you want for each part and then you assign them to the same MIDI channel.
