Fantom-S and Fantom-X
FANTOM X NOW SHIPPING
For those in the UK
16 Mar 2004, 03:21I just got Aprils turnkey catalogue. It has the X's advertised. Whether they have any in store is another thing. My next pay is at the end of the month - I think it's time to spend.
Turnkey £££
16 Mar 2004, 07:11£1599
£1999
£2299
I could fly to NYC and get one and a free trip for the same price.
I don't know what they are prepared to sell them at.

16 Mar 2004, 07:23Please, please beware of Turnkey!! (aka "Turdkey" to some)
They have a terrible reputation for selling products they do not have in stock. It's happened to me and it's happened to others (feel free to read through countless complaints at the SOS forum).
Nevertheless, if they have items in stock, their prices are not bad. Although, another bad critisicm is their repairs department takes ages to fix products.
Just my 2 cents...

Re: FANTOM X NOW SHIPPING
16 Mar 2004, 18:29My guy at Sweetwater said it would be end of the month, and that he would e-mail me when they're in. So far I've heard nothing. I wish the rack would be released at the same time. I'm sort of torn between the 61 and the rack, since I already have a master keyboard, a few hardware sequencers, and want to explore software sequencing with Project5.
