A complete reset should restore the user banks in the original state, I think.
Anyway, the presets banks in J-G cannot be modified, so if you bought a used J-G, the original patches are all still there...
The original user banks are just a selection of the preset patches and performances, so the original jgl file (if someone has it...) is useless!

Yep that's correct...

Yep that's correct, but I just need the factory JGL for building a library.

You can't get the preset patches into the Librarian just like that, you need to copy them to the user memory first, and since this is only possible one by one sound, no one in the universe will want to do this.

Advise only..

Save your user patches to your computer or everything thats you've done in your keyboard before doing the factory reset.. press menu then system then just look at the master restore or factory reset. When you've reach the default patches,go to your computer(librarian) then copy all the presets of your keyboard to your computer and save them anywhere you want (Make a Cd,its up to you..)then put back your previous patches in your keyboard...Use a Librarian software..

Hwy Man!!!

Dear Denznonie79,

I would if I could, but I only own a JUNO-G.

Never the less I've found some stuff on the internet which
might be interesting for you. Have a look at the attachment.
I don't know if they work.

Best regards,
Adje.
