Any NI KONTAKT pro users here?

I have KOKTAKT 3 and I am trying to find a way to make settings for mono and legato modes, but can't find anything in the manual. Sent a support question and their answer was that I'll have to use the script editor... I can't believe that such an essential feature has to be programmed by hand, especially that in MASSIVE it takes exactly two checkboxes to tick.
How do you make a multisample play as a monophonic instrument with legato? I can set the voice limit to 1, set up glide, okay, but I get no legato. Same for the step modulator and envelopes, how can I make them work legato?
