SH-32 O.S checking and dump problems ?

I want to do an O.S update but need to bulk dump first.

Never haad to do a dump before and downloaded midiox to do it.

I have opened up the sysEX window and start the bulk dump process, but nothing happens. Anybody givge us a walkthrough ?

Also, does anybody know how to check the O.S the synth is on ?

I have a prob at the moment where it willchange programs in midi clips in able' live but, just crashes if I do it from my oxygen 8 dummy keyboard.

Any ideas...will the latest os fix this ? I wish roland told you what were in the O.S updates for the older gear.

Check the System Settings on the SH-32 to make sure it's transmitting SysEx data.

Thanks, I have the hardcopy of the manual as well as the pdf and midi implementaion.

I pretty sure I have it setup right, but still no joy.

I even tried midi quest XL prog, but that doesn't work well, although think that is due to the program rather than the sh.

I love this synth , but if I have to record evrything to audio all the time and can't back up patches, it seems pretty pointless keeping it.

What about a sysex dump to your sequencer program?
