I recently Purchased the Korg M3....I ended up taking it back because I hated the OS but the B3 Organ Sim on there was the BEST I have ever heard.....

Can I get something similar with one of the SXR cards?????

works with fantoms but not JG?

I dL'd the b4real files for my JG but cannot get them to copy or open. Not sure but maybe I did not load the right folders or something. You have to be fairly technical to understand some of this stuff. Sure wish I could use it. Would love to eliminate laptop for NIB4 and just use these B4real patches in my JG. Yes, any help would be great. Sorry did not mean to hijack your thread. I am hoping that the answer to my question will also answer yours too.

bigjohnt,

Are you on a Mac or PC? Would love to see you get a chance to try it out, it's worth it.

Not a Fantom expert yet, but am willing to brainstorm with you to see if you can get this going. I had copying problems as well and had to reformat the card to get it to work...

Hey Jon, great to hear from you here. I use a pc, IBM Notepad hotrod to be more specific. I am not very tech-savvy over here but when you mention reformatting card, that scares me because I have all 300+ of my midifiles I use for performance loaded on this card. I have spent many many hours tweeking these files to sound good in the JG.

I suppose I could put them on a separate card but my goal is to be able to play B4real sounds on the JG while simultaneously running midifiles on the JG.

Couldn't I somehow load the b4real files onto my laptop and then go DIRECTLY into the JG bypassing the card altogether? If this is possible, couldn't I save these new b4real patches to a permanent location on the JG? Thanks for your interest in helping me with this.

I certainly understand not wanting to format your card then! Yes, you should be able to copy to internal memory. I'm going to try loading it that way on my Fantom and see how it goes.

I'm going on the assumption that the Juno-G and Fantom aren't too different in this regard.

Something else I want to check out is whether or not I can easily access other MIDI files while the B4Real is loaded. If I'm understanding the instructions correctly it may not be easy to use my own MIDI's when B4 is loaded?? Not sure though, I'll have to experiment with this, maybe it's actually a snap.

Hey Chiledude. Good question about the ability of running b4 while playing the JG. If you can figure out how to run B4 while playing along to your midifiles, that would be some great info to share. Making an uneducated guess, if it is possible at all, it will only work in the Fantom ):

Motown a question about your desk

Ney bigbromotown...I saw a pic of your studio and the desk you have the Korg d32xd on is exactly what I am looking for. Please tell me where you got it.
Thanks,
Ian

Hey guys

I'm using b4real on Juno G with no problems at all. As far as midi files go, the organ itself takes up channels 1 to 13 for it's drawbars. perc sounds etc so you will only have 14 to 16 available for midi tracks. Some of the organ sounds have drawbars set to 0 level so I guess you could squeeze midi tracks in on them but it could get a little messy.

Cheers

Hey bigjohnt,

Sorry, I just noticed the date on your post and realized that it was way back when. Did you have any luck with this in the long run?
