FAN X UP1 Directory.

12 Nov 2007, 18:07
Hello everyone, ok so I bought the original FAN X UP1 card when it first came out, but recently I sold it to a friend. But before I sold it was using it as an extra 128MB card for sample storage. I did however back the update files that were on the FAN X UP1 card originally. I copied the files back to the card assuming it should work fine by the card being the original FAN X UP1 card, but my friend says its coming up as "Invalid Card". So I'm thinking I don't have the files organized in the correct way on the card. Can some one take a look at their card and tell me how they're organized? Thanks.

The Roland card had some special information encoded in it which is required, so you cannot perform an upgrade using any other card.

hmm.. thats interesting... i thought i did the same one time

however this leads me to think that its the Date Stamp on the files that are the protection...

Anyone care to post the original date stamps to try out
(originaly created date is probably what you need)
